Building the Future Together
Join our team and shape how people learn
We're looking for people who care about education and want to help students across Australia connect with quality learning. Our platform started in 2021 with a simple goal: make distance irrelevant when it comes to accessing good teaching. If you believe in that mission and want to contribute your skills, we'd like to hear from you.
Technical Roles
We need developers who understand how to build systems that work for teachers and students, not just fancy interfaces. You'll work on real problems: video streaming that doesn't buffer during lectures, content delivery that adapts to connection quality, interfaces that work when someone's on a phone in a regional area.
- Front-end development with focus on accessibility
- Backend systems handling multimedia content
- Infrastructure supporting distributed users
- Mobile optimization for varied devices
Content and Support
Good education technology needs people who understand education. We're looking for course designers who know how to structure learning sequences, support staff who can actually help when something goes wrong, and content specialists who care about making complex material clear.
- Instructional design for online delivery
- Student support and troubleshooting
- Content optimization and structure
- Quality assurance for educational materials
Positions Available Now
These roles are open for applications today. We review submissions as they come in, and we typically respond within a week. All positions are based in Mosman, with flexibility for remote work depending on the role and your location.
What you'll actually do
Build and maintain the interfaces students and teachers interact with every day. This means working on video players that need to handle varying bandwidth, navigation that makes sense when you're moving through sequential content, and layouts that work on everything from desktop monitors to phones held in landscape mode during a lecture.
You'll collaborate directly with our backend team to optimize data flow, work with designers on accessibility improvements, and regularly test your work on actual devices our users have (not just the latest iPhone).
What we're looking for
- Solid JavaScript fundamentals and modern framework experience
- Real understanding of responsive design principles
- Experience with video streaming or multimedia content
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and testing
- Comfortable working with APIs and async data
- Previous work on education or content platforms helpful
The work
You'll structure how content gets presented to students. This means taking material from educators and figuring out the best way to break it into digestible segments, deciding what needs visual support, where to place interactive elements, and how to sequence everything so concepts build on each other naturally.
You'll also analyze how students are actually using the platform: where they're getting stuck, which sections get rewatched most, and what patterns emerge in successful learning paths.
Experience needed
- Background in instructional design or curriculum development
- Understanding of online learning principles
- Ability to analyze user behavior data
- Experience structuring sequential content
- Comfortable working with multimedia elements
- Teaching experience a strong advantage
Your role
Help students when they run into problems, whether that's technical issues with the platform or questions about navigating course content. You'll handle inquiries through email and chat, troubleshoot access issues, guide people through features, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams.
A big part of this role is recognizing patterns: if multiple students are asking the same question, that's probably a design problem we need to fix, not just individual confusion.
What helps
- Previous customer support or help desk experience
- Patience with technical troubleshooting
- Clear written communication skills
- Basic understanding of web platforms
- Ability to document issues systematically
- Experience in education sector valued
How to Apply
Send us your details through this form. We'll review your application and get back to you within a week. If we think there might be a fit, we'll schedule a conversation to discuss the role in more detail.
We care more about what you can do and how you think about problems than where you studied or worked before. Show us examples of your work if you have them, tell us what interests you about the role, and be honest about what you're looking for.
- Competitive salary with annual review
- Flexible work arrangements where feasible
- Professional development support
- Work that actually matters to students
- Small team where your contribution shows
